Secret RF Microneedling

A compounded prescription numbing cream is applied for 45 min prior to the treatment to enhance comfort. Secret RF is a fractional radio frequency (RF) treatment that uses an array of tiny needles to create tiny microchannels in the skin. These microchannels allow the RF energy to penetrate deep into the lower subdermal tissue layers at various depths depending on skin concern, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

Two sizes of treatment tips give you customizable options for treating the face and body with precision and efficiency.

Results often become visible after your first couple of sessions.

• This treatment can not be performed on anyone with dermal or metal implants, or a pacemaker.

• If you have any open sores, acne, infection or skin sensitivity in the area we cannot perform this treatment

• Avoid Fillers 4 weeks prior, and Botox 2 weeks prior to your appointment

• If you take Accutane, you need to discontinue it for 6 months prior to treatment

• This treatment is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Avoid alcohol and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (to minimum post-procedure bruising)

• If you can, please do not wear makeup on the day of treatment

• Excess hair may need to be shaved. Men should be cleanly shaved

• No self-tanners, spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, 2 weeks prior to treatment

• Avoid products containing retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids (popular ingredient is facial cleansers), vitamin C/ascorbic acid, astringents, vitamin C, etc. for 5 days prior to treatment

• If you have taken any blood thinners, please advise your clinician before treatments

• If prone to cold sores, an antiviral is recommended such as Valtrex 1 week before your appointment

• Avoid waxing and facial laser treatments 1 week prior to your appointment

• It is normal for the area to feel warm and tingly immediately after the procedure.

• The treated area will be mildly red and will subside 4-24 hours

• Do not wax the treated area for 3-5 days

• Do not laser the treated area for 2 weeks

• Do not exfoliate the skin for 2-3 days

• You will be given a post-procedure aftercare kit, it is the client’s responsibility to follow aftercare instructions for optimal healing

• Avoid heat- hot tubs, saunas, etc. for 1-2 days

• Avoid sun exposure that day and use a SPF 30 or greater daily to prevent further sun damage

• Wait at least 4 hours before washing your face or applying creams or makeup to the treatment area

• Avoid products containing retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids (popular ingredient is facial cleansers), vitamin C/ascorbic acid, astringents, vitamin C, etc. for 5 days post treatment
